Key ResponsibilitiesManage medical necessity reviews of rehabilitation services requested by Physical Therapy practitionersConduct timely and accurate reviews to verify and approve clinically necessary care for health plan membersCollaborate with senior management on clinical program development and participate in quality evaluation workgroupsRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationProfessional degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or universityCurrent, unrestricted license to practice in the healthcare specialtyMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably with medical necessity case reviewUnderstanding of Physical Therapy evidence-based guidelines and best practicesAdvanced training or certification in specialty areas of Physical Therapy or healthcare quality management preferred
