This position reports to

Plant Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.

The work model for the role is : onsite (#Li-Onsite) and relocation assistance may be offered with business approval. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Mebane, NC.

There could be up to 50% travel at times. You will be mainly accountable for : -Leading Procurement and Logistics team to deliver PL KPIs including but not limited to, cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality and sustainable supply chain -Adapting corporate contractual frameworks to local business needs, and recommending frame agreements to management and executing them, as well as providing oversight and contract management with suppliers -Supporting new product / component development in terms of supplier selection, cost control and project execution to achieve project target and business objectives -Collaborating with technology, engineering and operation team to develop and implement cost out projects to improve business profitability Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Manufacturing related field with 5 plus years managerial experience in operations or supply chain management in multinational companies (preferred)
  • Proficiency in offices, ERP and analytics is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment, ability to manage complex projects
  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy and implement innovative solutions - must be self-motivated, results driven, demonstrated leadership, and ability to take initiatives
