This position is for a part-time remote Telephone Triage Nurse working for an afterhours answering service . Working from the comfort of your own home, you will handle calls from primary care provider patients.
If you are located near Cuyahoga Falls, OH, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Schedule : Part-time, typically 20-24 hours per biweekly pay
Wednesday from 5 : 00 p.m. - 8 : 00 p.m. and on-call from 8 : 00 p.m. - 8 : 00 a.m.
Every other Friday from 5 : 00 p.m. - 8 : 00 p.m. and on-call from 8 : 00 p.m. - 12 : 00 a.m.
Every other Weekend both Saturday and Sunday day shift
Every other Holiday
Primary Responsibilities :
- Taking inbound calls to assess patients current health status
- Answer calls ranging from general medical questions and refills to patients with symptoms of covid, flu, UTI, etc.
- Provide patient education to assist with self-management
- Interact with providers
- Coordinate care for patient
- Educate patient on processes
- Document and track findings

Required Qualifications :
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio
- 3+ years of RN experience in a hospital setting, acute care, direct care experience
- Computer proficiency, to include solid data entry skills and the ability to navigate a Windows environment (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet)
- Critical thinking skills and ability to effectively communicate with providers
- Comfort with electronic health records and charting
- Designated quiet workspace and access to install secure high-speed internet via cable / DSL in home
