Manufacturing Supervisor, (Inspection & Packaging) - Night

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work onsite in our Holly Springs, NC facility. You will be a production shop floor supervisor in a Flu Vaccine manufacturing facility, managing staff in buffer and media prep operations.

• Shift : Night
• Hours : 6PM 6AM
• Follow 2-2-3 schedule

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of shift production personnel to ensure safety, training and quality compliance are prioritized for manufacturing goals
• Develop manufacturing staff for future leadership roles
• Manage performance of operational staff
• Manage resources and material requirements to meet production and budget targets
• Responsible for content and correct execution of SOPs and production batch records
• Provide insight to deviations and provide technical problem solving
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Schedule manufacturing activities and facilitate completion of equipment maintenance and validation

Key Skills :

Utilize business systems including : SAP, Veeva, DeltaV

Technical writing

Leadership capabilities

Technical and process-related troubleshooting

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma / GED required, preferably coupled with Biotechnology coursework. Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering discipline preferred

Minimum 5 years' related industry experience required.

Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry or equivalent preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.
