Title : AI Strategic Field Account Manager
Reports to : Director of Advanced Solutions Sales
Location : Sterling Offices / Remote
Job Description : Sterling seeks a customer-centric AI and Advanced Solutions Field Account Manager. The AI Strategic Field Account Manager will need be able to cultivate customers to drive adoption and success of our cutting-edge offerings.
This role requires technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills to craft captivating narratives, cultivate deep customer partnerships, and passionately evangelize our solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Lead customer engagement and sales activity for AI / Advanced Solutions workshops, and training programs to educate both technical and non-technical audiences about AI concepts, applications, and benefits.
- Responsible for all aspects of demand creation, selling, and forecasting.
- Grow revenue and market share for Sterling in Artificial Intelligence market segments including solutions, services, hardware and software.
- Be the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of customers and ecosystem.
- Build accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue.
- Work closely with partners (OEM, HW / SW, ISV) to craft and implement go-to-market plans and concept solutions to accelerate growth and adoption of AI / Advanced Solutions.
- Promote the use of key OEM products and technologies to end customers.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for all AI / Advanced Solutions opportunities within your customer base, including initial communications, on-site presentations, RFI responses, customer workshops, concept development, RFP submissions, negotiations, and deal signing.
- Complete field sales team responsibilities, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and assessment of the overall health of the business.
- Ability to travel as business requirements require.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years account management experience and customer intimacy in a relevant industry with Federal, SLED, commercial or enterprise customers.
- 5+ years of experience managing / leading a sales book of business ($100M+ in revenue).
- Manage large and complex sales opportunities emphasizing the value of the technical solution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to tailor business-relevant solutions for customers and partners.
- Develop and implement account strategies to drive sales of technical hardware, software, and services.
- A proven understanding of the business issues, cloud, artificial intelligence, compute, data management and overall infrastructure.
