Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join the Data, Power & Control Division. This is a remote position reporting to Fremont, CA.
The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for all technical aspects of our sales cycle specifically pertaining to our client’s needs with a focus on ZPE Systems products.
You'll manage major accounts and drive sales growth in our dynamic and rapidly expanding organization. ZPE Systems is a cutting-edge technology company revolutionizing the networking and security industry with innovative OOB resilience solutions.
What Will You Do?
Proactively participate in pre-sales activities including, but not limited to :
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
- Technical Expertise : Serve as a technical expert on ZPE Systems' products and solutions, providing in-depth knowledge and support to clients and the sales team.
- Sales Support : Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
- Solution Design : Work closely with clients to understand their technical challenges and develop customized solutions to meet their specific needs, leveraging ZPE Systems' product portfolio.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
- Training and Enablement : Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of ZPE Systems' products and solutions.
- Collaboration : Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to drive product enhancements and market success.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or experience.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on networking or IT solutions in the data center, campus or branch.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities :
- Knowledge and expertise in one of the following technologies : SecurityRoute / switchVirtualizationLTE 4G / 5GWLAN / WiFiNetwork Automation Python, ansible, etc.
- Linux operating systems
- Proven track record of success in managing major accounts and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, security,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM software (., Salesforce) and other sales tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation Minimum : $140,000 Base + $30,000 Commission
Compensation Maximum : $150,000 Base + $40,000 Commission
