An AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Associate to join their Corporate Finance practice.
The ideal Financial Services Associate will have a strong background in corporate finance, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, securities law, private equity transactions, capital markets, and / or real estate.

Financial Services Associate Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity deals.
- Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions
- Conduct buy and sell side due diligence and along with drafting various agreements (purchase agreements, shareholder / LLC agreement, LP / GP agreements etc)
- Ensure compliance with federal and state securities laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on corporate governance matters and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Financial Services Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Barred in NC preferred
- 2+ years of experience in corporate finance law, preferably in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of securities laws, corporate governance, and financial regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
