Position Title : Overnight Kitchen Cleaner
We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Overnight Kitchen Cleaning Specialist to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are
maintained in our main kitchen area. This role involves performing nightly, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as
outlined in our detailed procedures.
Responsibilities :
Nightly Cleaning Tasks :
Sweep floors thoroughly, removing any gum or substances.
Wash floors with degreaser and allow it to soak.
Pressure clean floors to remove grease buildup.
Rinse floor to ensure no grease remains.
Clean and polish stainless steel prep areas, oven fronts, deep fryers, tables, legs, and other appliances.
Clean stoves and remove burners for degreasing.
Clean ovens (except Rational ovens).
Clean grills and broilers.
Degrease racks, baskets, and all kitchen equipment.
Clean hoods, vents, and surrounding areas.
Wipe clean walls and equipment.
Clean light fixtures.
Polish outsides of refrigerators.
Clean, disinfect, and polish stainless steel surfaces.
Clean ice box doors and wash hand sinks.
Polish hoods every night.
Weekly Cleaning Tasks :
Clean ceilings.
Polish copper or brass pipes daily.
Monthly Cleaning Tasks :
Clean vents.
Clean drains.
Requirements :
Previous experience in commercial kitchen cleaning or related field preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in kitchen sanitation.
Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as required.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
