Job Description
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to : Carry out astronomy research including data analysis, modeling, and simulations.
Work independently and as part of a research group to write python code for analyzing data from the Vera Rubin Observatory.
Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications : Demonstrates knowledge and experience in astronomy, physics, mathematics, computer science, or chemistry.
Demonstrates experience with computer programming, preferably in python.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall / Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $17.20 per hour
