We are currently seeking an energetic and career-minded individual for a Project Estimator position with our client located in the Houston, TX area!

This Project Estimator will be working in the Industrial Pipe division, which provides products and solutions to the manufacturing sector.
Following an 8-week training program, this position will initially be responsible for working closely with customers and internal team members to determine proper materials needed for large industrial projects.
This will include working with vendors to generate sales quotes, project management of the fulfillment process and communicating extensively with customers.
Subsequent responsibilities will include continued training and development on the company’s products, customers, and markets.
This position will interact extensively with customers on a daily basis. Strong communication skills and initiative are essential!
The person in this position will have the ability to transition into an outside sales position or other positions within the company, with strong performance.
Prior work experience within the industrial markets is highly desirable for this position. Knowledge of piping materials, carbon steel, valves and / or fittings is also desired.
