The Alexa Customer Journeys team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical with the experience and passion to dive deep and drive impact across the tech, science, design, and engagement challenges of defining and scaling how we provide proactive assistance for Generative AI use cases.

The role requires leaders with technical depth as well as strong hold on industry best practices.Our team is focused on ensuring every Alexa customer receives personalized, proactive assistance that helps them achieve more in their daily life.

Our team builds a combination of end customer experiences and horizontal systems that are scaled across hardware and software experiences.

We strive to keep things Day 1, and fun. We are located across Seattle (WA), Bellevue (WA), Irvine (CA), and Santa Monica (CA).

Key job responsibilitiesThis role will be focused on leveraging Generative AI to create personalized, proactive recommendations at scale for all Alexa customers, including :

  • Drive clarity out of ambiguity and define a clear vision, strategy and requirements for customer scenarios.
  • Develop and manage mechanisms that ensure high quality at speed and scale.
  • Represent the voice of customer through external and internal research and map to customer needs.
  • Work with engineering, applied science, and UX / design to advance state of the art.
  • Drive adoption, engagement, and experimentation of your products.
  • Collaborate and partner closely across Amazon to amplify proactive experiences.Key job responsibilitiesThis is a horizontal product role spanning multiple delivery orgs in a functional product team.

This team is central to delivery of an Generative AI-based service at a high quality bar. The right candidate will possess an understanding of engaging with science and engineering teams to deliver foundational technologies and customer experience at a high quality bar.

A day in the lifeCut through ambiguity, apply mechanisms, deliver requirements and engage deeply with science, engineering, feature, and UX teams to deliver bar-raising, personalized customer experiences.

Ultimately, you own the customer experience, with customer satisfaction as your ultimate success measure. You will engage with science and engineering teams daily, and update senior leadership on progress weekly.

This is a high velocity, high ambiguity problem space, scrappiness and ability to drive teams with clarity will allow for success.

Basic Qualifications5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPreferred QualificationsExperience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSightExperience in building and driving adoption of new toolsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
