RESPONSIBILITIES
Beresponsible for the brand operations and overall unit performanceof a district of up to 9 Anytime Fitness units. In addition overseeand manage a secondary role and responsibilities within thecompany.
The following are specific responsibilities of a districtmanager.
Lead Toensure that others are inspired to learn more do more bemore
Be the leader that youwant your unit managers tobe
Lead with the companycharter mission vision and values with everything youdo
Address issues in thedistrict with respect andempathy
Demonstrateintegrity
Work on improvingyour leadership skills everyday
Staff To make sure that all units have the appropriate levels of trainedstaff
Determine and followthe ideal and actual staffinglevels
Oversee and executestaffing plans with the unitmanager
Hire managementlevelpersonnel
Discipline rewardand recognize managementlevelpersonnel
Ensure the properdiscipline process is followed by unit managers in a consistentmanner with teammembers
Develop To ensure that the team in your district has the training andcapability to succeed at theirjob.
Oversee and executetraining and onboarding plans per eachunit
Have a development planfor all unit managers in thedistrict
Work with traininglocations to assist in unit manageronboarding
Ensure staff areproperly trained by the unitmanager
Plan To prepare execute and present a wellthoughtout plan to achievestrategic and financial results in allunits
Participate and assistwith executingthe Annual Businessplan
Participate and executea District plan byunit
Report updates outcomeschallenges andneeds
Maintain To ensure units and equipment are wellmaintained andoperational
Ensure the unittask management list is being followed by the unit manager and teammembers at thelocation
Ensure the repairand maintenance policy is beingfollowed
Oversee andexecutethe annual maintenanceplan
Market To own the Local Store Marketing (LSM) efforts in thedistrict
Develop and executean LSM plan with unitmanagers
To reach out to thelocal community and chamber to find opportunities to integrate andparticipate in conjunction with the unit manager to drive leadgeneration and communityengagement
Propose LSMideas
Oversee and ensureunit managers execute the unit marketingplan
Evaluate To evaluate the business to determine where your District is andwhat needs to change to arrive at where it needs to be in thefuture
Review reports andKPIs
Conduct brandoperations evaluations in all units once permonth
Conduct a safetyinspection once per quarter in allunits
Followup To do the necessary followup to ensure that the tasks policies andprocedures are being followed per company and brandstandards
Collaborate To accomplish the companys objectives andmission
Routines Toexecute the position of district manager in the most effectivewayto drive unit and memberperformance.

Conduct structuredunit visits
Document everyunit visit and provide feedback to the unitmanager
Assist with unittakeovers
Assist with newunit openings
Cover shiftswhen needed (missing unit manager oremergency)
SCHEDULEREQUIREMENTS
50 hoursper week 5 to 6 days per week
Work atleast 1 evening per week and 2weekend dates per month to doeffective unit visits (mix up times / days ofvisits)
Visit units at least1x per week
General hoursare 11am7pm MonWed 10am6pm ThursFri and 10am2pm weekends (whenapplicable)
NECESSARYSKILLS
Strongleadership skills prior successful management and customer serviceexperience prior successful sales experience in the fitnessindustry brand knowledge ability to master operational excellencehighly organized selfmotivated disciplined collaborative objectiveflexible work schedule adept at teaching / coaching quick learnerfranchise knowledge genuine and honest.
Being techsavvy is crucialincluding proficiency with computers MS Office email POS systemsiPad Google Docs apps and other necessary technology to execute thejobefficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Acollege degree is required and a 4year degree is highlypreferred
5 years experiencein sales customer service and management with a successful trackrecord in sales performance and building a winningteam
Annual continuingeducation credits and corporate trainingrequired
AED & CPRcertificationrequired
Personal trainingcertification is required within 6months
Personal and grouptraining experience is highlypreferred
Experience workingin the fitness industry isrequired
Successful workexperience and a track record of managing and inspiring others toperform at their best isrequired
