HVAC Mechanic / Kitchen

About the Role

The Donohoe Companies is looking to add an HVAC / Kitchen Mechanic to our facility team. This person's focus would be supporting the commercial kitchen and associated areas within the building as a stationary position in Washington, DC. Hours 6 : 30am - 3 : 00pm, Monday-Friday. Salary $40.00-$46.00 depending on experience.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair of refrigerant systems and associated equipment
• Operate and maintain Preventive Maintenance services for commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, kitchen hoods, commercial dishwashers, walk-in coolers & freezers and subsystems
• Conduct routine inspections of all kitchen equipment daily
• Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
• Interface with building managers and other customer representatives with goal of client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Place and / or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Maintain inventory, purchase materials and supplies, as required for timely repair
• Perform other related duties as assigned
