Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for adding to the value stream of multiple product lines that support programs across the MFC portfolio.
We measure our success through safety, quality, cost, and schedule metrics.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include :
- Leading a team of supervisors, support team members, and technicians (including machinists, assemblers, welders, and painters) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Managing team staffing including coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, cross training, and recognition / disciplinary actions.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team including engineering, quality, maintenance, facilities, and safety to execute on core metrics of quality, cost, and schedule.
- Driving a continuous improvement mindset and work environment with a focus on meeting customer requirements and business objectives in the areas of safety, quality, affordability, and deliveries.

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired skills
- Ability to create and utilize metrics to drive business performance.
- Experience in working with facilities teams and capital project management.
- Understanding and experience with collective bargaining agreements and working in a union environment.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including SAP and Apriso.
