Family Law Paralegal - New Haven, CT (Hybrid)
Position : Family Law Paralegal
Location : New Haven, CT (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience to join the New Haven office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and be proficient in performing all related paralegal functions.
The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support, and property division
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and court filings
- Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes and case law
- Manage case files, organize and maintain documents, and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing evidence, and managing document production
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in the case
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in family law
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and practices in Connecticut
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in legal research and writing
- Experience with legal software and case management tools
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
