Job Title : Material Handler
Location : Danbury, CT
Shift : 2nd Shift, 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM
Pay : $21.16 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and organized Material Handler to join our team in Danbury, CT. The Material Handler will be responsible for moving materials around the plant, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting various operational tasks.
Material Handler Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification required.
- Knowledge of weighing scales and ability to perform weigh counts.
- Strong organization skills to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to assemblers.
- Ability to read and create labels.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work the 2nd shift (3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM).
Material Handler Responsibilities :
- Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the plant.
- Create labels for receiving and organize parts accordingly.
- Remove waste materials such as cardboard and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Assemble and reassemble racks as needed.
- Perform inventory counts for the buyer or planner.
- Pack actuators and other materials as required.
