JOB SUMMARY :
Ecommerce Site Product Merchandising Manager
Contract with potential to go fulltime
40 hours a week onsite
Hybrid - 3 days a week, onsite in Irvine, 2 days from home.
Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce Operations & Merchandising, the Ecommerce Site Product Merchandising Manager will drive day-to-day operations for the website to ensure customers can easily discover and shop products.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented and know how to balance art and science of site merchandising to execute all site product strategies.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage, execute, and deliver site product merchandising strategies to achieve revenue targets, and deliver optimal site experience with a consideration for customer behavior, brand aesthetics, seasonality, and inventory availability.
- Manage and ensure all products are accurately completed and launched in a timely manner for optimal sales revenue.
- Manage the Ecommerce product merchandising team who are responsible for the day-to-day site merchandising tasks such as product onboarding and offboarding, product catalog creation, assortment merchandising, product taxonomy and tagging.
- Deliver merchandising execution plans for new product launches, promotions, and other brand initiatives tailored to both new and returning customers.
- Lead & collaborate with internal teams and external business partners to translate product business goals and customer needs to ensure successful product launch strategies.
- Collaborate with Photo Studio team to prioritize and ensure ecommerce product images are completed prior to the expected delivery date.
- Leverage site analytics & business intelligence solutions to monitor product performance and convey opportunities to optimize product placement, site navigation and discoverability (homepage, collections pages, landing pages, promotions, product pages) to improve customer experience, maximize conversion and achieve revenue targets.
- Gain a deep understanding of our current and evolving product merchandise catalog to address ecommerce customer needs, trends, and to stay competitive within the marketplace.
- Monitors, prioritizes, and coordinates product launch priorities based on Calendar and / or Operational campaign shifts.
- Continuously optimize merchandising processes to improve efficiency and team output.
- Manage hourly / daily / weekly communications with the DTC team on product status, issues, opportunities, and delays.
- Performs additional responsibilities and ad hoc projects, as needed.
- Assist with basic technical implementations related to product for email marketing, site product banner uploads, and others, as needed.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years or related work experience.
- 3+ years in a retail or e-commerce environment.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
General Duties and responsibilities include :
- Working knowledge of Ecommerce platforms and marketing software.
- Demonstrates high-level of quality work and attendance.
- Proficient computer skills : Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Business Suite (Gmail, Meets, Chat, Sheets).
- Proficient knowledge of Ecommerce business processes.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, positive attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Demonstrates a high level of energy and the ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates high degree of attention to detail.
LEVELS :
Extensive proficiency. Questions and issues are predominantly routine, but associates must be able to deviate from standard scripts and procedures as needed.
Handles situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research. May require advanced problem solving. Shares information with professionals with less experience and / or expertise.
Works under general supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires three (3) or more years of related experience.
