Volt is immediately hiring for Lead Installer in Vista, Ca.
As a Lead Installer you will :
- Install countertops in both commercial job sites with skill and precision.
- Read and interpret drawings, take accurate measurements, and perform detailed field cuts that meet project specs.
- Lead an on-site installation team, ensuring deadlines are met and safety protocols are followed.
- Effectively communicate with clients, building superintendents, installation crews, and project managers to ensure top-quality results and durability.
This is a full time opportunity
The ideal candidate will have :
- Minimum 5 years installation experience required.
- Valid California Driver’s License AND clean driving record required.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail, pride of craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
- Proficient in stone finish work, installation, and demonstrated experience using all hand and power tools used to install countertop materials.
- Ability to problem solve on-site
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and carry in excess of 75 lbs. on a consistent basis with a team
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Team player, positive, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.
- Ability to work in teams and independently, managing time effectively.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and out of town when needed.
- Basic math skills for measuring.
Requirements :
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment physical required.
- Clean criminal background necessary for access to job sites and residential contracts.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- OSHA Training 10 hour or 30-hour course preferred.
Pay Rate : $24.00-30.00 / hr
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
