Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves general cleaning of common areas and patient rooms, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment.

Key tasks include mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing furniture, equipment, and facilities, as well as cleaning bathrooms.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of common areas and patient rooms.
• Mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing furniture, equipment, and facilities.
• Cleaning bathrooms.
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean and sanitary.

Essential Skills

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial duties.
• Proficiency in mopping, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Ability to perform dusting and other cleaning tasks effectively.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Experience standing and working on feet for 8-hour+ shifts.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hospital setting, with a 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 3 : 30 pm, including rotating weekends. The environment is climate-controlled and clean.

The dress code includes company-provided scrub tops, black pants (no sweats or leggings), black socks, and slip-resistant shoes.

If you do not have slip-resistant shoes, covers will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mequon, Wisconsin.
