About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Craftsperson focused on improving availability, reliability, and processes around the maintenance of fixed plant equipment.

You will be required for precision and safe work practices, as it takes a level of expertise and skill to harness the power of electricity and safety.

Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, you will be :

• Inspecting of field instrumentation and verification of manufacture calibration, onsite calibration, and testing
• Completing electrical work in accordance with NEC, NFPA70E, MSHA standards, and best practice
• Final control element inspection and troubleshooting, repair and rebuild, replacement and installation according to engineering standards, best practices, and manufacture recommendation
• Calibration, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of inquisitive equipment.
• Commissioning and start-up activities including, instrument loop inspection, loop check, configuration, calibration, and testing.

Mechanical installation, stock testing, of final control elements

Support and maintenance of DCS, and PLCs based systems. Practical experience with hardware of Rockwell (ControlLogix & CompactLogix), and Delta V system

What you’ll bring

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 2+ years of relevant experience using electrical / Instrumentation, fiber communication, AC and DC motors, reliability, and PLCs
• State electrical licensing or technical electrical training / schooling
• Proven experience in dedication to documentation updates and creation for plant-specific maintenance tasks including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Practical knowledge of Motor Starters, MCCs, VFD, and 480-volt three-phase systems.
• Experience with and troubleshooting of critical instrumentation in Real-time operation of a PSM site

It will also be beneficial if you have :

• Advanced understanding and hands-on experience of smart transmitters, sensing elements, transducers, and transmitters.
• Experience with calibration, configuration, and repair of measurement / control instruments for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and PH)
