Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to reduce overall purchasing costs.
- Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and / or operations and develops supply recommendations.
- Ensures suppliers can meet forecasted demand.
- May coordinate efforts in the reduction of purchasing / engineering costs and establishing cost for new products. Continuously explore the cost improvement ideas through VA / VE in close coordination with suppliers.
- May participate in design and / or technical reviews. Must understand technical aspect of casting machined parts should be able to convey the requirements to suppliers.
- Actively interviews the current and new suppliers to maintain a competitive supply base for the commodity assigned, may select, recommend, and manage relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Resourcing parts strategically to obtain the best total cost, quality, delivery for the plants
- Manage key supplier relationship, Conduct Monthly / Quarterly business reviews with the key suppliers and generate ideas of cost improvement through regular involvement / participation from suppliers.
- Other related duties as assigned
- The annual salary range for this position is $82,000-$125,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. (Engineering preferred)
A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
