Shift : Monday - Friday, 5am -1 : 30pm plus mandatory overtime
Pay : $18.60 hr.
Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for sterilizing hospital supplies and surgical instruments.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up Gas-Injection Unit daily and shuts down the Gas-Injection unit at the end of the day.
- Sets up daily paperwork.
- Calibrates Gas-Injection Unit.
- Enter data into Gas-Injection Unit.
- Scans packs' barcode.
- Watches computer screen to ensure all parameters are achieved.
- Inspects seals, insert labels, carton labels for accuracy and correct color according to distribution
list.
Makes biological test packs, places pallets in heat / aeration chamber, removes pallets from
heat / aeration chamber, and incubates biological tests.
- Reads & documents biologicals for release of finished goods.
- Performs routine maintenance on Gas-Injection units.
- Trouble shoots any mechanical failures.
- When time permits, makes boxes or helps build or bag packs in the assembly room.
Qualifying Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years relevant experienc
