Business Development Director
We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our dynamic team in the Bala Cynwyd area. This pivotal role combines the flexibility of remote work with the effectiveness of in-person interactions, fitting for candidates within commuting distance to our offices.
As a Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in identifying lucrative business opportunities, fostering solid partnerships, and developing tailored solutions that propel our clients' business forward.
Your ability to drive client engagement and achieve significant sales outcomes will make you an integral part of our company's expansion and success in the market.
Compensation : A base salary of $135,000 with on-target earnings ranging from $175,000 to $200,000 in the first year, comprised of base pay and commission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identify and secure potential business opportunities and strategic partnerships to boost market presence.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders to extract critical business needs and craft bespoke strategies that align with client goals.
- Lead the development and strategic execution of solutions that enhance client satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with new and existing clients to reinforce business continuity and loyalty.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and enhance the business proposition.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
- Close proximity to the Bala Cynwyd area suitable for a hybrid working arrangement.
- At least 8 years of B2B sales experience, particularly with Fortune 500 clientele.
- A stable career history with no more than three job changes in the last ten years.
- Track record of closing high volume sales ($250,000 and above) and managing extended sales cycles ranging from 3 to 12 months.
- Prior experience in developing significant business growth within marketing solutions or professional service areas.
Preferred Qualifications :
- A four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing major client relationships and large-scale business development activities.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills to assess and leverage market conditions.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
