Patient Care Coordinator

About the Role :

LHH Staffing Solutions is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for a leading medical clinic in TUSTIN, CA. This role provides excellent medical customer service while managing referrals, patient check-in / check-out, insurance verification, and medical billing across all payors, including commercial and Medicare.

Responsibilities :

• Schedule patient appointments
• Create and maintain patient records
• Scan and file patient documents
• Manage incoming phone calls
• Obtain insurance authorization
• Provide financial counseling and process payments
• Conduct billing research and respond to inquiries

Qualifications :

• Bilingual / Spanish
• High school diploma or GED
• Less than 1 year of customer service or administrative experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Preferred : 1-2 years of experience with EMR systems, knowledge of HIPAA and medical insurance regulations, associate degree, and proficiency with MS Office

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, talk, hear, use hands, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds

Pay Details : $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
