We here at Kelly are seeking proficient and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to work our premier client In Lake Zurich IL.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with small hand tools and performing tasks under a microscope for extended periods.

This role involves producing components, subassemblies, and final assemblies with high precision.

nThe position is temp-to-hire, with opportunities for long-term employment for the right candidate.

n Pay Range : $18 - $26 / hr (based on experience)

• 1st Shift : 6am 2pm, Monday to Friday n t
• 2nd Shift : 2 : 30pm 10 : 30pm, Monday to Friday n

n Responsibilities : n n n t

• Product Assembly : n n t n t t
• Follow released documentation to produce products; notify the supervisor if a conflict is observed. n t t
• Produce components, subassemblies, or final assemblies with minimal supervision. n t t
• Perform in-line checks and product testing on subassemblies and finished products using hand tools (calipers, micrometers, scalpel, soldering iron, tweezers). n t t
• Operate various equipment such as adhesive dispensers, UV cure, vertical shrinker, braider, tipping machines, and molding equipment. n t t
• Maintain awareness of quality requirements, identify defects, and communicate them to the supervisor and / or engineer. n t t
• Track materials, tools, and procedures as the device is manufactured. n t

• Documentation and Line Clearance : n t n t t
• Prepare the station and perform line clearance, including all items identified in the line clearance procedure. n t t
• Ensure daily line clearance is completed for each operation performed. n t t
• Confirm that training is current before starting work and understand the procedure; notify the supervisor if a conflict occurs. n t t
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly CER cleaning for individual stations. n t t
• Accurately fill in LHRs or forms in support of manufacturing. n t

n Must-Have Qualifications : n n n t

• Fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. n t
• Proficient in working with small hand tools and able to work underneath a microscope for an 8-hour shift. n t
• High school diploma or equivalent. n

n Nice to Have : n n n t

• Previous experience in medical device assembly or machine operation (excluding CNC). n t
• Educational qualifications or certifications above a high school diploma or GED. n
