Job Summary - Vaco is currently working with a Construction Company and they have an opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to handle accounting / bookkeeping processes with a focus in construction (AIA) accounting.

Job Duties -

• Responsibilities will include full charge bookkeeping / accounting processes
• Managing the financial records of an organization
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date
• Preparing Trial balance
• General ledger processes
• Working with balance sheets
• Performing accounts payable / receivable
• Vendor management and rectifying payment processing
• AIA Billing and / or contracts Essentials -
• 4+ years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping
• B.S. in Accounting is desirable but not a must
• Must have Construction industry experience
• Must have AIA billing
• Past experience with Quick books or related Accounting software is a must
• Must have experience with MS Excel
• Being comfortable wearing many hats

Schedule - 8 to 4pm OR 9 to 5pm.
