Description
Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred.
- Two to three years experience in case management required, two to three years hospital-based experience as a Case Manager preferred.
- Knowledge of community health care and socioeconomic resources.
- Two to three years experience with JCAHO, and third party payor requirements preferred.
- Active RN license
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions
- Knowledge of generally accepted hospital policies and procedures
- Organizational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Effective supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns
