Job Summary
Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Job Responsibilities
- Performs all cleaning, floor care,and project assignments within area of responsibility and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in areas as necessary or designated.
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
- Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
- Assists other associates as necessary.
- Oversees the cleanliness of the locker room area including cleaning lockers on a bi-weekly basis, vacuuming all carpeted areas, and monitoring all wet areas as necessary.
- Ensures there are adequate towels and supplies in the locker room.
- Coordinates and administers lost and found program.
- Communicates effectively with members, answers questions, and responds to comments and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred
- No experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age
- BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position OR
- Heartsaver CPR AED required within 90 days of employment in this position AND
- FA - First Aid certification required within 90 days of employment in this position
