The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our private cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS).

The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform.

When it is completed, the application should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours.

What You Are Good At

• Evaluating complex user requests and clarifying and communicating the objectives in a clear and concise manner
• Conducting and preparing feasibility studies for new and existing applications
• Leading projects with moderate complexity and scope
• Making a positive influence on your team members and peers
• Providing technical expertise
• Working on Proof Of Concepts (POCs) using new / emerging technology / tools

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of challenging the status quo, this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in a software development role
• Experience with full stack application development technologies, RESTful APIs, Relational and Document-Based databases, and Cloud technologies
• 5+ years of coding experience in C# / .NET
• Experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, Splunk (logging), JSON / XML, PCF (Cloud), Agile Practices etc.
• Experience being a technical lead for a team and / or project
• Ability to produce detailed design with help from leads and architects and communicate the design to the necessary stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate with teams across different geographic locations

Preferred Qualifications :

• The ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders
• The ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies
• Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment
• Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to front end system integration with Pega / Appian BPM tools
• Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem
