Implement end-to-end data analytics solutions for large-scale, complex environments.
Support Enterprise Data & Analytics team members to ensure quality and end-user satisfaction.
Translate requirements into a technical design leveraging existing tools, services, and frameworks.
Deliver complex projects on-time, proactively identifying and mitigating gaps and / or risks.
Combine a deep understanding of Azure technologies with experience to match an architecture with a roadmap, timeline, and level of effort.
Use a deliberate, methodical approach to solving problems.
Drive design and deployment of the data and analytics workloads in Azure and optimize consumption of the platform by providing architectural (including, design, implementation, and deployment) guidance, within the current framework / model, and provide appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers.
Assist with the installation and configuration of data infrastructure and analytic tools / platforms.
Migrate large data from multiple legacy systems and translate to current ready-to-use data.
Code appropriate data scripts and build ETL / ELT pipelines.
Lead creation of collateral including reference implementations and best practices.
Foster a problem-solving culture that resolves issues through collaboration and partnerships with other parts of the organization.
Partner with company leaders and support key stakeholders and company departments by teaming on special projects.
Be an effective technical mentor to more junior level teammates.
This position is remote but may require travel to corporate as needed
BS in Computer Science, Applied Data Science Analytics, Business Administration, or equivalent with 5-7 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, data integration, data analysis, reporting, and / or machine learning.
Experience in the design and development of cloud data solutions including data lake storage, relational data, semi-structured data, streaming data, and event-driven processing.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and / or Azure Synapse Analytics required.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Oracle, or similar programming languages required.
Experience with Power BI or a comparable analytics / reporting platform required.
Exposure to large data analysis and conversion.
Experience integrating internal and third-party services into solutions.
Strong analytical problem-solving ability. Experience with AI / ML and integrating algorithms into reporting is preferred.
Ability to make knowledgeable tradeoffs when translating resource and time constraints into design requirements.
Ability to work as part of an agile, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
