Our Ideal Candidate
The Lead Project Engineer role is in-office based in Centennial, CO. The ideal candidate is a leader with experience working on water / wastewater projects or similar.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead Project Engineer , you will manage a team of Project Engineers throughout the lifecycle of complex wastewater lagoon projects.
You will also lead the development of engineering processes and contribute to Triplepoint Environmental's rapid growth.
Project Design & Execution
- Lead the engineering of multiple complex projects, ensuring they meet the requirements of all internal and customer specifications.
- Generate, manage, and approve all engineering drawings, calculations, and bills of material to ensure project success.
- Provide engineering support throughout the full project lifecycle including sales, installation & start-up, and warranty periods.
- Lead the development of engineering processes and tools to streamline and ensure continued quality of all engineering deliverables.
Team Development & Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of project engineers and designers.
- Lead the development of engineering processes and tools to streamline and ensure continued quality of all engineering deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
Coordination and Communication
- Provide exceptional customer service in all project-related aspects.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure project alignment and success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the project engineering team.
Collaboration with the Project Management Team
- Work closely with the project management team to modify project documentation and meet customer needs.
- Approve project engineering submittals, for both internal and vendor products.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve customer, field, and operational issues.
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience with Mechanical, Water / Wastewater, Civil, Electrical, and / or Controls Systems.
- Skilled in developing & reviewing technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and / or 3D modeling platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- A continuous learner with an insatiable curiosity who brings life experience and a go-getter, ownership mentality to work daily.
- 8+ years of project engineering experience
- 3+ years of direct management experience preferred.
- Leadership experience required.
- Experience in the wastewater process industry or a similar field is preferred.
What We Offer
Triplepoint offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary of $115,000 USD- $145,000 USD (depending on experience), full benefits including 401k, outstanding profit-sharing potential, and a generous vacation and holiday package.
