POSITION SUMMARY :

Person in this position will be responsible providing supervisory oversight of the logistical, operational, maintenance and transportation needs of the agency.

Additionally, this position will provide oversight and support to Recovery Residence programs and the Wings Advocacy Fresno project.

Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Responsible for oversight of agencies purchasing, including all food products, supplies, equipment and furniture.
• Ensure proper inventory controls.
• Coordinate all bids for services / purchases with outside vendors; including negotiation of vendor contracts.
• Responsible for the facility kitchen operations, facility cleanliness, and compliance to Health Department standards.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote the recovery residence program and attract new residents.
• Responsible for training and supervision of all operations, kitchen, maintenance, transportation, and recovery residence staff.
• Provide immediate support and coordination in case of emergencies.
• Responsible for agency compliance with all health, fire, and safety codes including all in-house inspections.
• Coordination of inspections with outside regulatory agencies.
• Responsible for oversight of all agency transportation services, including oversight of day-to-day transportation needs in accordance with all vehicle / transportation guidelines.
• Responsible for all building and vehicle maintenance with outside vendors and for assessing repairs of buildings and grounds.
• Responsible for oversight of all building renovations and construction.
• Responsible for menu planning at all facilities in accordance with dietary requirements.
• Provide oversight of all agency cooks, drivers, maintenance crews and facility engineers.
• Direct oversight and management of agency's procurement department.
• Maintain effective communication with site managers.
• Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience and Competencies :

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Outstanding critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of facility maintenance
• Experience working within a substance abuse treatment setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
• Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be culturally / linguistically sensitive to populations served.
• Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR);
• Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from LEIE, MSIL, and EPLS.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare's vehicle insurance is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Fresno County Credentialing; and
• CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

• Four (4) years' experience in purchasing and cost control, warehousing, inventory control, vehicle / transportation maintenance and / or construction.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Work is primarily performed in an office or a treatment setting.
• Must be willing to travel; and
• Outdoor / outreach activities may be required.
