Description
Chief Fabrication is seeking a Trumpf Punch Operator to join the Chief team. This position performs set-up and operation of two complex CNC critical work centers in the Fabrication department.
Job Responsibilities :
- Utilizes print specifications and appropriate measuring tools to perform work accurately, and assure quality.
- Moves material as needed using overhead crane or other methods of material handling as authorized.
- Selects, installs and adjusts proper tooling for required operation.
- Responsible for overall product quality and productivity in assigned area.
- Participate in safety activities and utilize required personal protective equipment.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements :
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Required knowledge in the intensive operation, set-up and program modifications of complex CNC equipment and associated tooling and fabrication processes.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
