Salary : $89,440 - $122,720

Level : Mid

Position Requirements :

  • BS degree in engineering or related science preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 6 years of professional experience in Fire Suppression and / or Fire Alarm design.
  • General building construction knowledge.
  • Assist in performing consulting and design services on a variety of projects, utilizing Fire Protection Engineering technical skills.
  • Analysis of existing fire protection systems; design new fire protection systems, including fire suppression systems, fire alarms, and mass notification systems.
  • Fire and life safety analysis of existing and new buildings; hazardous materials, fire-rated construction; code analysis.
  • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Able to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
  • Familiar with Title 24 CA Building Standards Code and NFPA Standards.
  • Visa sponsorship is available. Experience working in the US is preferred.

Preferred Skills :

  • Federal, healthcare, and education project design experience is preferred.
  • EIT Certification preferred.
  • Fire and Life Safety code analysis and building survey experience preferred.
  • Fire modeling, BESS analysis, or hazardous materials experience is preferred.
