Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Drive project management activities, including :
  • Coordinate directly with the designated technical project officer and technology manager assigned for each project
  • Organize all internal and external meetings with relation to each project.
  • Develop project scheduling (e.g. GANNT charts) detailing all related activities.
  • Maintain up to date project budgets.
  • Tracking deliverables, progress against milestones (projected vs. actuals)
  • Actively adjust project milestones and timelines to ensure overall project success.
  • Formalizing / planning review meetings for project Go / No-Go milestones.
  • Responsible for accurate financial tracking, billing, and on-time invoicing.
  • Communicate effectively and work fluidly within all Silfab’s departments : procurement, sales / marketing, operations, finance / accounting as well as external parties such as the DOE.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project database.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master of Science in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of Tools : experience with Smartsheet or other project management software.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in project management or construction. with backgrounds in 0 manufacturing or general contracting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solidwork / CAD experience.
  • PMP License
  • Project or initial warehouse setup and / or automation experience
