Hebrew Home at Riverdale is part of a group of long-term care affiliates under the brand name of RiverSpring Health. RiverSpring Health provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long-term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.
Collectively, RiverSpring Health empowers over 18,000 patients, residents and members to live forward every day. Hebrew Home at Riverdale is looking for a Clinical Reimbursement Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the assessment of the residents using the minimum data set (MDS), supportive documentation and executing the resident assessment instrument (RAI) process.
Collaborates with other department to utilize objective information from the clinical documentation to drive the highest quality of care.
Performs utilization review tasks for all insurance payers. Supports neighborhood staff in preparation for audits or Department of Health Surveys.
Qualifications
The successful candidates must have a valid NYS RN license; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, master’s degree preferred.
Three years experience in coordination of facility reimbursement and maximization a must. Completion of NYS PRI assessor program preferred;
RAC-CT preferred, however if candidate does not have RAC-CT certification one must obtain within one month of hire date.
Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and MDS, federal and state requirements a must.
Compensation Range : $90k-$105K
