Description

As a Marketing Technology Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our digital marketing efforts through the strategic implementation and management of various marketing technologies.

You will leverage your technical expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to enhance our marketing campaigns, track performance metrics, and ensure seamless integration across all digital platforms.

Additionally, you will work closely with the IT department to address data and development requirements, ensuring robust and efficient marketing technology solutions.

You will also be an integral part of executing our CRM / Content Marketing Strategy, working in partnership with the Creative & Brand Marketing Team to build custom segments, measure and optimize campaigns and provide comprehensive results.

This role will require a candidate that is highly technical, analytical and is willing to dig into the data to drive impactful results.

The Marketing Technology Specialist will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Implementation : Manage web components, email templates, and other digital assets using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure they are responsive, user-friendly, and align with branding guidelines.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) : Manage GA4 to track and analyze website traffic and user behavior. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing strategies and achieve business objectives.

Google Tag Manager (GTM) : Implement and manage tags through GTM to streamline the deployment of marketing and analytics tags across our web properties.

Ensure accurate tracking of user interactions and conversion events.

Data Analysis and Reporting : Compile and analyze data from various sources to generate comprehensive reports on campaign performance, user engagement, and other key metrics.

Present findings to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, IT, development, and design teams to ensure the successful implementation of marketing technologies and the seamless execution of campaigns.

IT Collaboration : Function as the primary liaison between IT and Marketing teams, partnering with the IT department to address data and development requirements.

Ensure that marketing technology solutions are robust, secure, and efficiently integrated with existing systems.

CRM Functional Execution : Work in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager and Brand / Creative Teams to execute the Content Marketing Strategy / CRM strategy.

Building segments and customer journeys, managing and optimizing campaigns and providing real-time results.

Troubleshooting and Optimization : Identify and resolve technical issues related to web tracking, data collection, and tag management.

Continuously optimize tracking and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Basic Requirements :

2+ years of experience.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a solid understanding of web development principles.

Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including setup, configuration, and data analysis.

In-depth knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and / or website tagging for tag implementation and management.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

A proactive and self-motivated approach to staying updated with the latest marketing technology trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience with other marketing technologies and tools such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and A / B testing tools.

Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.

Proficiency in Google Cloud a plus.

Certifications in GA4 and GTM.

Proficiency in SQL and like-database platforms
