Where will you work?
Our Niagara Falls, NY* location is part of our Applied Health & Nutrition Division and is a leading producer of organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving the Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed and Technical industries.
The products we make fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food and feed preservation.

What will you do?
As the Senior Process Engineer, you will actively engage in process design, technical support, regulatory compliance, project management, procurement, and secondary support of operations management activities.
Main Activities :
- Technical development and analysis of chemical process operations and alternatives to fulfil strategic initiatives.
- Economic analysis of alternative chemistries and process operations.
- Technical support of daily operations and developments.
- Process and project engineering activities.
- Budgeting and control of capital project expenditures.
- Maintain engineering department records and control of technical information / files regarding process development and applications.
- Maintain familiarity with plant operations to provide management support and oversight on an as needed bases.
- Maintain familiarity and promote compliance of corporate policies.
- Supervise, guide and direct assigned personnel including contractors and junior engineers.
What will you need to be successful?
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as process engineer in the specialty chemical / petrochemical industry.
- Required knowledge in process development methodologies, PFD and P&ID development.
- High exposure to plant operations and experience in designing mid to large range projects ($250K+).
- Skills and Abilities : Problem formulation, troubleshooting plant operations, experimental design, estimation, develop solution alternatives.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $89,175 to $134,984 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
