Electrical Systems Engineer

Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Chicago, Illinois - Full Time

Productive Resources ( ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL.

As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer with a strong background in electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and industrial control panel layouts.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties :

• Develop and review electrical schematics in compliance with NFPA design standards.
• Create and interpret single-line diagrams and industrial control panel layouts.
• Generate and maintain associated bills of material for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify electrical drawings.
• Utilize EPLAN Electric P8 software (v2022 or newer) for electrical design tasks.
• Apply experience with E-Plan for additional project support.

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience working with electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and industrial control panel layouts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong understanding of NFPA design standards.
• Experience with creating and managing bills of material for electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with EPLAN Electric P8 software (v2022 or newer).
• Additional experience with E-Plan.
