2nd Shift Maintenance Manager

Gpac is currently working with a rapidly growing food manufacturer in northwestern Kentucky who is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Manager.

This location has two facilities running 24 / 7 across 3 shifts - plus a third on its way! They are seeking a hands-on leader with previous experience working in food processing / RTE environment.

Responsible for :

• Overseeing maintenance department on 2nd shift
• Lead and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Work with team to troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and reliability
• Schedule and supervisor team including performance evaluations and hands-on training
• Ensure compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures and practices

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in food production / facility maintenance; 3 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with SQF or other GFSI programs
• College degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements
• Must be a proactive team player who learns quickly when facing new challenges and is open to change
• Advanced mechanical and electrical skills including ability to read schematics
• Must be able to work with power tools and handle high and low voltages. Must have own tools
• Ability to read engineering schematics such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic
• Welding experience
• Light carpentry skills
• MUST have Knowledge of Weber Slicers, Multivacs, labelers, and flow wrappers sealing machines
