Sr. BI Developer (Data Engineer) - INCORTA / ODI / InformaticaAs a key member of our team, the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting essential enterprise Business Intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data integration, ETL processes, and business intelligence to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and leveraging skills and experience to create end-to-end solutions, from data acquisition and modeling to reporting and visualization.

The candidate will continuously assess and adopt new technologies, methodologies and practices to enhance data processing capabilities.

This position is crucial in ensuring high-quality data operations and providing valuable insights to support the organization’s decision-making processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with analysts and BI developers to design and implement data models that support reporting and analytical requirements
• Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing best practices for data processing
• Ensure high levels of data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes
• Implement data governance best practices to maintain data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and data quality issues, documenting solutions and maintaining technical documentation
• Participate in business meetings to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL / data pipelines and data models
• Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
• Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented
• Work closely with offshore team(s) and participate in scrum calls
• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
• Understand Data Sources and Data Modeling concepts to develop and enhance the existing Data Warehouse
• Understand normalized and star-schema physical models and logical modeling concepts
• Collaborate with Oracle ERP Analyst to identify and resolve data quality issues
• Participate and handle full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Coach / mentor other team members as appropriate to facilitate their professional development

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type : Salary$107,143.99 - $150,001.60 / Yearly
