SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY :
This position handles most day-to-day accounting responsibilities including both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, as well as financial reporting and analysis for multiple properties.
Will assist CFO with any special project requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Classifies, summarizes and records transactions in the financial management system, including journal entries, debits, and credits in accordance with required accounting standards.
- Performs bank reconciliation of all accounts.· Maintains multiple properties general ledgers.· Monthly Invoicing of Sub-tenants· Complete All Sales Tax Returns· Performs monthly closing procedures, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Assists CFO with year-end audits and tax return preparation
OTHER FUNCTIONS :
Year End 1099’s· Support Payroll and Benefits as needed· Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred but will consider level of experience· Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and MS Office · Able to work independently, self-motivated, takes ownership Benefits :
