PURPOSE OF POSITION

The primary responsibility of the grinder is to operate up to three grind machines to grind scrap plastic resin from injection molding machines.

This position must be able to maintain an orderly area, accurately & timely report on material weights, maintain equipment in proper working condition.

This position may be asked to help in other areas as needed based on workload.

What You’ll Do

As an operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Gallatin, TN. You’ll get to :

• Grind all scrap material in a timely manner.
• Must be able to learn and distinguish different types of material used and proper grind / disposal process.
• Maintain an orderly workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
• Provide accurate reports to quality department as required.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely. Training will be provided.
• Abide by all safety regulations and policies and must wear all required PPE for any task / job being performed.
• Perform other duties outside of department as needed.

• Ability to operate a forklift. Training will be provided.
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
