IFG is actively recruiting a Divisional Accounting Manager responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements, the close process and associated reporting requirements, forecast consolidation and analysis and will have direct oversight of the weekly cash flow forecasting.
This role will be the first point of contact with Corporate Finance on different internal control and compliance events or changes and will then be responsible for disseminating and ensuring compliance at the plant level.
This position is a hybrid role and will require occasional travel.
Responsibilities of the Divisional Accounting Manager
- Perform the close and consolidation on plant financials.
- Perform balance sheet reviews with all plant leadership.
- Drive the development of department objectives that are aligned with overall business goals.
- Responsible for the annual budget and allocation process along with quarterly bridges.
- Identify and track KPI's and success metrics.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the finance function and our controls across the division.
- Drive proactive SOX meetings to enhance plant controls to help prevent control failures.
- Plan, organize, and lead the implementation of ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements of the Divisional Accounting Manager
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- A Master Degree in Business Administration and / or CPA strongly preferred
- 6+ years of experience with demonstrated progressive growth in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience working in a multi-site environment
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and experience using Hyperion / FCCS
