Salary : $160,000 - $180,000 + Bonus up to 25% + Amazing Benefits

Typical hours : M-F, 9 : 00 AM CT - 5 : 00 PM CT
After-hours and weekend on-call (1 weekend per month) rotation

Job Description
Our client in the Food Manufacturing industry is looking for a Director of R&D to add to their team in Neenah, WI. Reporting to the president, you will lead the continued development and implementation of a comprehensive, best-in-class approach to research and development, food safety, sanitation, quality, and regulatory compliance.
As the leader of R&D, your goal will be to provide high-level strategy and guidance to take the company into the future.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong food R&D background , a passion for developing new products, and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
In addition to that, you must be a strategic problem solver and have an eye for identifying areas of improvement. Responsibilities
- Provide advice regarding culture, growth, planning, talent, and legal issues
- Advise Leadership Team on the activities and needs of the QA, R&D, and Food Safety
- Provide updates to the Board of Directors as needed
- Collaborate with leadership on R&D progress and identify new product opportunities
- Ensure all initiatives align with the company’s desired culture, mission, and strategic plan
- Support the food safety management system through adherence to policies
- Drive innovation of new products and technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8+ years of Food, nutrition, or beverage manufacturing experience required
- 5+ years of R&D experience required
- 4+ years of management / supervisory experience required
- Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory knowledge required
- Quality Management System experience required
- ERP experience required
