Salary : 10,725 per annum
Location : The Shires Oakham
Hours : 27.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9am- 2 : 30pm
Contract : Permanent; Term time

The Shires Oakham are opening up as a larger school from February 2022 and were looking for a School Cook to join our team.
Someone with previous experience of catering for large amounts of people as well as previous experience managing would be perfect for this role.
About the School
The Shires is made up of three sites all within a 15-minute drive of one another. The sites consist of two Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools and three Residential homes.
We help care for and support 33 young people aged 11-19 and 8 young adults who have been diagnosed with Autism and may have accompanying learning disabilities, behavioural problems or medical conditions.
The ethos of The Shires is very much characterised by a can do attitude. We want people who focus on the positive outcome of our children and take responsibility for helping improve the lives of our young people.

About the Role
You will take the lead role within the school kitchens and in doing so be responsible for all activities and staff in the kitchen and for providing meals, snacks and refreshments for staff, students and visitors at The Shires.
