Job Description :
Are you a skilled phlebotomist with a passion for providing exceptional patient care? As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate lab results and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Interaction : Greet patients warmly and create a comfortable, trusting environment.
Phlebotomy : Draw blood samples skillfully and accurately, following established procedures.
Specimen Preparation : Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring quality and compliance.
Data Entry : Accurately input patient information and lab results into electronic systems.
Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency in data entry
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
