You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify Walor sales opportunities
- Travel to customer locations, plants, and supplier locations as necessary to develop and maintain customer relations
- Short and long-term sales / revenue planning
- Responsible for assigned book of business and annual business / forecast planning
- Represent Walor on technical and commercial issues in line with business strategy
- Preparation of detailed quotes and negotiation of product, development and tooling costs including verification of price relevant data
- Commercial quote responsibility for new programs and engineering changes to current programs.
- Work with manufacturing and engineering groups to successfully launch new programs
- Manage platform profitability and support cost optimization programs
- Support internal teams to help drive solutions with the customer in the event of customer quality, delivery or accounts receivable issues
- Travel up to 30% (Some international travel may be required)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
- Entrepreneurial approach to assigned book of business
- Must have minimum of 3 years of account management experience in the automotive industry
- Strong communicator (verbal and written) with a desire to drive solutions
- Analytic expertise and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in relationship building, customer liaison and program management
- Strong team player with ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
- Must have a strong technical aptitude
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Capable skillset operating applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
