Forklift Operator - Freezer/Cold

We’re looking for experienced Forklift Operators to work with our client MTC Logistics ! Earn up to $17 / hr. A global logistics and transportation company that specializes in bespoke supply chain solutions, e-fulfilment and transportation by air, sea, rail, and road is looking for Forklift / Counterbalance Drivers to join their team.

These are temp-to-hire positions convert to a full-time employee after 520 hours of work!

About the Role :

Use a variety of material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Pay Rate : Earn up to $17 / hr.

Available Shift Times :

Third Shift : Sunday - Thursday 9 : 30 PM- 6 : 00 AM

Key Responsibilities :

• Driving both high reach and counterbalance forklifts, minimum 1 yr
• Picking orders using an RF scanner device
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Receiving and dispatching of goods
• Wrapping pallets
• Doing consigning notes / labelling
• Other warehousing duties as required on the floor.
• Other duties as needed / assigned.

Key Requirements :

• Experience with a high reach forklift / standup / sit-down and operate confidently.
• Must have previous experience working within a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbers.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit / -25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit / 37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. / 18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
