Director of Human Resources

Job Summary :

The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. This position will be onsite at our corporate office located West Des Moines office with travel to Marshalltown at least one day a week in addition to travel to other locations as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to direct reports.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department to ensure efficient operation.
• Conducts constructive and timely performance evaluations.
